Field Hydrology and Chemistry Group

Welcome to the Field Hydrology and Chemistry Group. Our scientists and engineers specialize in protecting and restoring the environment. Our principal activities are to develop and deploy technologies to clean up contaminated groundwater and soil. We also assess and monitor the environment for the effects from complex waste sites and other hazards. We also protect and maintain natural resources through water management and carbon sequestration. Many of these capabilities are unique in the world.

In the following pages you will find descriptions of our research and projects along with contacts for more information. The research is led by talented scientists with a diverse set of knowledge and skills. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you solve your environmental problems.

The Field Hydrology and Chemistry Group is one of 22 technical groups within the Energy and Environment Directorate (EED) at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
